Creatures

Wisps

The mystical Wisps come from the world of Xorinia.
They look like pulsating objects of blue light which levitate a few feet above the ground.
The Xorinite community is ruled by the "Undrian Council", which is similar to a government. It seems that the Wisps have a telepathic connection with each other or that they are all actually the same being. Possibly they aren't capable to independent thinking but are controlled by the whole Xorinite community.

Wisps are exchangers of information. It seems that their "job" is to trade information with other races from different worlds and then send the information to the Undrian Council. It is unknown what they do with that information or why they only try to find more of it.

Wisps may be great sources of information but they can also bring destruction upon you.
The worst example is Zog. Not much is known about him. He was supposedly a powerful mage. He lived in the early Sosaria. Zog traded information with the wisps and recieved the spell of Armageddon. He was too curious and casted the spell. All life except his own ended for centuries. Zog eventually died. His remains are in the Museum of Britain.
The wisps trade information with you but may also be spying you for your worst enemy. That's why one should be very careful when interracting with the Wisps.

Wisps have natural ability to teleport. They are very dangerous and unexpectable enemies. You should avoid combat with them unless you are well prepared.
In Britannia Wisps are often seen in Spiritwood or in the Deep Forest. Best time to search for them is night but they can be found anytime.

Goblins

Goblins populated the wilderness of Sosaria. They were the most common enemy you would encounter if you left the city walls. After the rise of Britannia the goblins still populated the land. The goblins disappeared from Britannia before the Gargoyle wars.
For an unknown reason the goblins suddenly returned to Britannia after the cataclysm.

In Serpent Isle, homever, the goblins had lived much longer than in Britannia. They were still a serious threat to the human cities.
But when the Banes of Chaos slaughtered the inhabitants of Serpent Isle we can suppose the goblins, as well has humans, died from there.
